Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, fitness level, health metrics (height, weight), and workout and food preferences. We also collect usage data such as workout completions, meals logged, step counts, app interactions, and device information to provide and improve our services. Subscription and purchase history is processed by the App Store or Google Play; we receive confirmation of your subscription status but never your full payment details.

Your information is used to personalize your fitness experience, provide tailored workout, yoga, and nutrition recommendations, power AI features such as the meal scanner and AI coach, track your progress, send relevant notifications you have opted into, and improve our app features. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We share limited data with trusted third parties that help us operate FitYog. Advertising & measurement: we use Meta (Facebook) advertising tools to measure the performance of our ads. With your permission — the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS, or your advertising ID setting on Android — we may share your device advertising identifier and certain app-event data (such as app installs, purchases, and app interactions) with Meta to attribute and measure advertising. You can opt out at any time by declining the tracking prompt or by resetting or limiting your advertising ID in your device settings. Service providers: we use Supabase (secure data storage and authentication), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple App Store and Google Play (payments and subscriptions), OneSignal (push notifications), and Google's Gemini AI (meal-photo analysis) to deliver core features. These providers process data only on our behalf. We never sell your personal information.

When you use the AI Meal Scanner or AI Coach, the meal photo or text you submit is sent securely to our AI provider solely to generate your result and is not used to identify you. We do not retain your images for advertising or sell them to anyone.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, row-level access controls, and regular security reviews. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal data at any time through the app settings. Pro members can export their full workout and nutrition history as CSV from within the app. You may request a copy of your data or ask us to erase your account entirely, and we will respond to all data requests within 30 days.

We retain your personal data only for as long as your account is active and we need it to provide the service. When you delete your account — in the app under Profile → Delete Account, or via https://fityog.co/delete-account — we permanently delete your personal data from our systems, typically within 30 days. We may retain limited records for longer where required to comply with legal obligations (such as tax or transaction records) or to resolve disputes, and residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a short period before they are overwritten. Meal photos submitted to the AI Meal Scanner are processed transiently and are not stored after your result is generated.

FitYog is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
